定语从句是语法内容中的一大中心部分，也是雅思写作中必不可少的一个知识点。

　　它能比较显著地彰显出写作者的实力，一个恰到好处的定语从句，能体现出写作者对整体语句较为精确的掌控能力，并且增强语句的紧凑感。当今，许多同

学对其用法含糊，只能凭借着多年的语感去编写。为了保证写作中运用的定语从句精确合理，学生应该对此从句有个系统的学习。

　　1. 非限定性定语从句

　　特点：主句与从句之间用“，”隔开;不能用that引导;从句润饰整个主句

　　l which引导的非限制性定语从句

　　e.g. 许多车沿着大街停，这是交通堵塞的直接原因。

　　Plenty of cars are parked along the street, which is the direct cause of  traffic congestion。

　　l as引导的非限制性定语从句--- 加分句式：一般放句首

　　As is well-known,

　　As is expected/ supposed/ suggested,

　　As has been said/ mentioned/ pointed out before,

　　As will be shown in the next paragraph,

　　e.g. 正如上文所述，中国政府越来越重视整个社会的可持续发展。

　　As has been mentioned, Chinese government is increasingly concerning the  sustainable development of the whole society。

　　2. 考官如安在雅思写作中运用定语从句

　　However, the parents who do not allow their children sufficient free time  for leisure activities outside school hours are misguided。

　　If everything they do must have some educational or academic relevance,  then they will soon get tired of studying altogether, which is the last 

thing  parents would want。

　　There are the two factors that may be the most important for achieving  happiness。

　　They are generally more confident and independent than children who stay at  home with their parents and who are not used to strangers or new 

situations。

　　3. 定语从句的概念以及结构

　　在复合句中润饰名词或者代词的从句叫做定语从句。被定语从句润饰的名词称为先行词;起到承上启下作用的词为引导词(关系词)

　　e.g. Lucy is a girl who likes to help other people。

　　先行词 引导词(功能：代替先行词)

　　who 人 主语 or 宾语

　　whom 人 宾语

　　which 物 主语 or 宾语

　　that 人 or 物 主语 or 宾语

　　whose 人 or 物 定语

　　when 时刻 状语

　　where 地址 状语

　　why reason 状语

　　a. 那些花费许多时刻打游戏的人不愿意参加社会活动，也不愿意与人交往。

　　Those who spend plenty of time watching TV will refuse to participate in  social activities and interact with other。。

　　b. 每个人都夸奖的那个女孩来自中国。

　　The girl whom everyone praises comes from China。

　　c. 手机是一种可以使人们相互沟通的工具。

　　The mobile phone is kind of tool which enables people to communicate with  each other。

　　d. 人们往往会和性情，喜好与自己附近的人交朋友。

　　People tend to make friends with those ones whose character and hobby are  similar to their own。

　　e. 我将永远不忘掉我第一次见你的那一天。

　　The most exciting travelling experience for me is the one in Bali where I  experienced diving for the first time in my life。

　　f. 比较激动人心的一次游览阅历是在巴厘岛，在那里我有生以来第一次体验了潜水。
