目前正面临着所谓雅思考试的“变题期”，许多考生感到非常迷茫。为了帮助考生更加从容地应对未来几个月的考试，本文详细回顾了2016年9月后的雅思写作考试，总结出了一些明显的规律，从中分析了其发展的大体走势，希望这些规律和趋势能给广大考生带来有益的启迪。
　　在学术类议论文中，十个月总共出现了24道考题，各类话题的分布较为分散，而最常见话题是"教育"，占了6篇(1/4)，其中有两篇是"教育"和"网络"的综合考题，其次是政府话题和犯罪话题，各占了4篇(1/6)，有一篇是"大众媒体"和"犯罪"的综合考题，旧题和新题各占了2篇(1/12)，其它话题占了6篇(1/4)。可见教育、政府、媒体和社会话题占主角。另一特点是写作主题呈现多元化的趋势，即开始考合成型的题目。此外，既有少数新题如"警察是否应该带?、和"如何消除现代人的自私和贪婪"等，还出现了两、三年以前的老话题，如"该不该拆除旧房子"，"政府是否投资空间探索"等。最后，试题仍然重考，上述考题中，亚太和欧洲地区最少出现1次，多的竟达5次，如"国际旅游业并没有带来人们之间的理解"。看来，虽然去年曾传言"9月份以后雅思考试将不会重复使用考卷"，但事实证明使用"一次性"试卷的做法是缺乏根据的。因此，可以预见，未来的写作考试依然可能会出现试题重复的现象。在学术类图表作文中，最常见的四种图形为线形图、表格图、圆饼图和柱状图，值得注意的是，近期的几次考试中都出现了多图综合的趋势，如线形图和表格图的结合，线形图和柱状图的结合，连续在大陆出现后，仅在6月26日重复出现了一次，但需要引起考生的注意，尤其是在所谓雅思“变题期”出现几率较大。
　　在移民类议论文中，以"教育"和"工作"为主题的考题占了绝大多数，其中前者重点考察内容是"业余兼职"、"学业压力"和"电脑游戏"三个方面，而后者则侧重于"职业薪金"、"缓解压力"和"择业标准"等。另外，新的话题，如国际婚姻的利弊，也需要引起考生的关注。最近有"复古"的题目出现，如"媒体该不该报道人们的私生活"，"是否该穿校服"和"是否该养宠物"等。在移民类的书信中，以"请求信"和"抱怨信"为主，其次是"寻找失物信"。再次是"道歉信"。
　　总之，雅思写作考试考题仍然没有重大的变化，不外乎三种情况，一是过去大量旧题的翻版，二是老题的合成，三是有限的新题的出现。因此考生在备考雅思写作考试期间，首先应该熟悉以往考过的话题范围，有选择地加强训练，一旦遇到新题，洞察话题间的联系，看是否能从旧话题中得到启发，从而迅速确定写作思路。其次，密切关注考题的发展动态。一般说来，欧洲首次出现的写作考题，在大陆重考就为期不远了。建议考生务必全面提高自身写作能力，可以适当参考老师的预测范围，重点复习准备，力争做到"以不变应万变"。
